Actually I submitted in August 22. I previously had a residence permit under the student article in Portugal. I stopped studying and started working from 2023. During my renewal appointment, I requested to change my residence article from student to work. However, I have now received a message from AlMA asking me to provide proof of university enrollment, even though I requested a change in the type of residence permit. They gave me 10 days to upload this document. Since I’m not student anymore and want to change my article to the work category, what should I do in this situation? I would like to request a consultation regarding this matter.

I did not graduate just stopped to study because of working and don’t have any debt to university.

In my previous messages, I explained that I stopped my studies and did not enroll again. Since 2023, I have been working in Portugal, and when I applied to renew my residence card, I requested a change of article. However, AIMA is still asking me for a university declaration, but I am no longer a student. What documents do I need to provide in order to change my permit type, and what is the next step?

In this case, since your application is still for studies, it is recommended that you are currently studying and that you submit a certificate of enrollment to AIMA within the deadline.
